Our museum education programmes are designed to make a visit to the museum a memorable experience for all ages.
We offer weekend programmes for families and age-appropriate activities for school groups, during which they can get to know the life of István Szőnyi and his family through numerous playful tasks and puzzles.
During the general guided tour you will learn all the important information about the house and Szőnyi, whose life and art are intertwined with Zebegék and the Danube Bend.
Room by room, we will show you the Szőnyi House, its original furniture and furnishings, most of which date back to the 19th century. We will tell you about the life of the people who lived here and about István Szőnyi's most famous paintings.
Not everything is black in the dark, at least in a painter's house. Take a tour of the old house, see Szőnyi's paintings among the old furniture and see the painter's studio in a completely different light.
