Our museum education programmes are designed to make a visit to the museum a memorable experience for all ages.
We offer weekend programmes for families and age-appropriate activities for school groups, during which they can get to know the life of István Szőnyi and his family through numerous playful tasks and puzzles. We will tell you what the special painting tools in the studio are for, and you can try out Szőnyi's secret recipe for egg tempera, which he used to paint many of his pictures.
For those who choose Zebegény as the destination for their class trip, we offer a full-day programme, including a museum session with art and a tour of the town's attractions, including a presentation of the cultural and natural beauty of Zebegény.
For adults, we also offer guided tours, museum walks in Zebegény and a playful team-building programme.
The museum and its gardens are also an excellent venue for family events such as weddings, birthdays, name days and more. Visitors can return home enriched by art, play or even create together. These events are always tailor-made to suit the needs of the family.
