Our museum has joined the Advent Advent Story Calendar in Zebegény in 2021. During the calendar, a story window will be opened in the village every evening in the days before Christmas. This year we opened the first window on 1 December.
Géza Gárdonyi's The Cinege we have created an 'illustration' of István Szőnyi's painting 'Zebegény in winter' we used.
If you can, visit the village during the Advent season and take an evening stroll, the illuminated fairy-tale windows are magical.

Meet Zebegény! Our guided walks start at the house of István Szőnyi, the painter of the Danube bend, and then we will walk through the village and show you the sights of Zebegény.
