THE EXPERIENCE OF PAINTING

By mixing the recipe of Szőnyi egg tempera, everyone can recreate a famous Szőnyi painting according to their taste, based on the prepared sketch. Enjoy the liberating and soothing effect of the creation in the most authentic setting, on the house's wild grape-infested veranda and in the museum garden. Let yourself go, relax and discover your creative side with us.

PAIR PORTRAIT

Be both painters and models, take each other's portraits!

A creative activity is guaranteed to help you get even closer to your partner. No qualifications are necessary, anyone can start creating together. Couples can sit facing each other and capture each other's facial features using a technique of their choice, with all the tools and props provided

A Couples Portrait can be a real introspective, loving activity, where you can have an intense spiritual connection while deeply studying your partner's features, or you can just have a good laugh about how you see and portray each other.

But this session is not only for lovers, it is open to anyone who wants to try out the sensations of studying the facial features of a fellow human being. One thing is for sure, the experience will bring you closer together, and it's no secret that the longer you focus on each other's faces, the more you discover about them, and the more you like them.

Even if you are not a Leonardo and you don't have the talent of drawing Szőnyi, you don't have to push the program. You can also choose a montage technique and use the elements we've collected (eyes, eyebrows, lips) to create a portrait of your partner, picking out the details that most resemble them. Whatever your portrait of the person you're portraying looks like, you can be sure it will look great framed on the wall, either on its own or alongside your portrait.

Before and afterwards you can walk through the romantic streets of Zebegény and watch the sunset over the Danube bend from the hillside.

CREATE FREELY IN THE WEAVING GARDEN

In the vast garden of the Szőnyi House, you are free to create as you wish, using the technique and theme of your choice. We are happy to provide tools and inspiration if needed. Spend some unforgettable hours relaxing and recharging in a truly authentic setting.

You can also work with materials you bring in, or buy the supplies you need to create your own.
